Professor Resigns After Being Ostracized for Civil War Beliefs

Ever lose a job because you didn't see things the same way as your boss?  Enoch Marvin Banks knows the feeling.  In 1911, Banks was ostracized for his belief that the cause of the Civil War was slavery.  In fact, the stress and pressure to change his beliefs became so much that he resigned his post as a professor at the University of Florida.
